"Bill Pound -- words, music and versatility....a fireball of entertainment that you should check out!" --Joe South
An old friend to some of you -- a new one to many, born in Macon, Georgia and on the ABB scene from day one, Bill Pound's band (The Boogie Chillun') opened for the "Brothers" at Central Park the very first time they ever performed in Macon. Where has Bill Pound been all this time? .....giggin, recording and writing....what else?!! From a full band project (Music is a Treasure CD), acoustic guitar/vocals (Song of Life CD), acoustic guitar/flute (Spirit Gift CD), down to solo flute (Flute Music for Relaxation CD), there is a smorgasbord of melodies and ideas available to "sink your ears" into.

"If you're looking for a way to enhance your party tenfold, gain a better connection with a prized client, or just encourage a good time among friends, do yourself a favor--hire the musician Bill Pound. Fueling the music with flute, guitar and vocals, he delivered a taste of meditative sound followed with nostalgic rock-induced classics and his own powerhouse of rhythm and blues........" , Atlanta,

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that Bill Pound gives a great performance. Many of the folks in Big Canoe have enjoyed his music and singing at Sconti prior to the fire and at other local restaurants, such as, Fireside. He's a big drawing card and you should try to book him as soon as his schedule permits.
Bill is also very community-minded and has done some benefit performances for local charities, such as Habitat for Humanity.
In short, Bill would be a big hit at Sconti at the Swim Club.

This letter is our personal recommendation for Bill Pound. Bill was hired to be our entertainer for our wedding party. Being new to the area we did not know any entertainers; Bill was highly recommended through word of mouth -by more than one person.
We were very pleased with Bills dedication, Bill went above and beyond, meeting with me before hand to make sure we agreed on the genre of music played, he arrived early and helped with the lighting décor, he was very pleasant, tackling all request from the guest, keeping everyone participating which made it more enjoyable and fun. Bill definitely has a talent; he was the hit of the party.

Bill, thank you for making my 50th birthday bash such a success. People loved the music and thought you were a fantastic musician. We would definitely love to have you play again at a party. Thanks again, Kim Carlson
Dear Bill, thank you so very much for your wonderful performance at our "Open House" on June 16th, 2007. Everyone raved about the performance you gave. This was the first party I have given, ( I have had a few, and have had entertainment at them), that I have gotten thank you cards from the guests telling me how much they enjoyed their self. I owe that to you Bill, you were incredible and you made my "Open House" a success. Thank you, and I will definitely have you as my entertainer if I have any future get togethers.
Bill: I don't know how you and Cindy pulled it off, but you made my 60th Birthday one I'll always remember. Thank you for being there. People are still calling and telling me what a good time they had. You ARE "The Man".
Hope to see you soon. Happy Easter, David
When we were considering music for our reception for our wedding at Amicalola Lodge, to be held on May 24, 2008, we were really expecting to have a DJ. We wanted several hours of dancing for our guests and ourselves, ranging from teenagers to sixties. Inez at the Lodge recommended Bill, as we were concerned about finding someone to come to the somewhat remote location. When we spoke, Bill explained that that he was actually a musician and composer, and would like to play for us as well as due DJ duties. We agreed that he would start the evening out playing, and we would supply some of our own CDs for him to play later.
We (and our guests) were wonderfully surprised when Bill started the program. He is exceptionally talented, playing several different instruments quite professionally. His music was so good, we told him to forget the CDs, and just keep playing! He picked up on exactly the type of music suitable for our group, and everyone had a great time. Several commented "How/where did you find him... he is excellent!"
We were most pleased, he certainly exceeded our expectations, and I am very happy to recommend him for any event. Charlotte Petrides 770 402-7805
